The Lacey-Tumwater area is a metropolitan area that serves as a primary urban center for Thurston County. Originally a bedroom community the city of Lacey has evolved into an important retail hub. Sixth Avenue Place is located within Lacey's Woodland District which is comprised of primarily small office and retail uses. Built in 2008 this four story structure is a mix of 1-3 bedroom residential apartments, and 5,380 sf of commercial retail space.
